BACKGROUND

Bond Amount: $60 M

  • A new elementary school will be built to serve grades Pre-K through 5.

  • The school will have a capacity of 770 students with potential for future expansion.

  • The current elementary school will undergo renovations to be converted into a junior high school.

  • These changes will increase the number of classrooms.

  • New drive and traffic pattern for the new elementary to alleviate backup on 149.

  • New learning spaces will be designed to meet Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

  • Secure vestibules will be included at the new elementary school and the renovated junior high.
